What unlimited calling means on an agent phone plan
Unlimited on an agent phone plan means unlimited within fair use. Bland includes unlimited US and Canada voice and SMS, but still lists hard caps on calls.
"Unlimited" on an agent phone plan means unlimited within fair use. Bland's Agent Phone Plan includes unlimited US and Canada voice minutes and SMS, but the same pages that use the word "unlimited" also list hard caps: one active call across the whole account, a maximum of 60 minutes per outbound call, 1,000 call minutes a day shared between inbound and outbound, and limits on texts per hour and per day. Go over a cap and the call or text is rejected with a specific error code rather than silently allowed.

What happens at a cap#
Bland's docs describe specific error codes rather than a vague failure when a cap is hit. A second outbound call while one is already active returns CALL_RL_PLAN_CONCURRENCY. Going past the daily minutes cap returns CALL_RL_PLAN_DAILY_MINUTES. Texting past the hourly or daily cap returns SMS_RL_PLAN_HOURLY or SMS_RL_PLAN_DAILY[^1].
How two rivals word "unlimited"#
ClawdTalk's pricing page does not use the word "unlimited" at all. Its plans are stated as fixed minute allowances instead: free at 15 minutes a month with no number, Starter at $12 a month for 100 minutes plus a $20 number setup fee, and Pro at $30 a month for 1,000 minutes with the same setup fee. Only the Pro plan allows overage, billed at $0.02 a minute past the allowance; Starter's page states plainly that it has no overages[^2].
ClawCall names three of its own tiers "Unlimited," "Unlimited Reserve" and "Unlimited Reserve Plus." Its pricing page discloses limits in its own "Honest limits" section: calls go only to US +1 numbers, are conducted in English, and exclude bulk or high-volume automated outreach and sales campaigns (clawcall.dev/pricing, October 2026). That page did not state a specific call volume cap alongside the word "unlimited" as of October 2026.
How to tell which plan fits#
Bland's plan fits an agent that needs one call at a time, stays within 20 calls an hour, 50 calls and 1,000 minutes a day, and keeps outbound calls under 60 minutes. It costs $14.99 for the first month, then $29.99/month, with texting subject to its own caps. If the agent needs to run many calls at once, rather than one at a time, Bland's Agent Phone Plan isn't it: concurrency is fixed at one call per account. ClawdTalk's Starter and Pro tiers list higher concurrency (3 and 20 concurrent calls, respectively, as of October 2026); ClawCall's pricing page doesn't disclose a concurrency limit. For parallel calling on Bland, review Bland's Build or Scale plans instead.
Getting consent from the people your agent calls or texts, and following your state's or country's recording rules, is on you; see Bland's terms (/legal/terms). This is not legal advice.
The unlimited AI calling and SMS plan page restates these caps in one place, and the AI phone number plan lists the plan's pricing and included features. FAQ#
Is Bland's "unlimited" calling actually unlimited?#
No. It is unlimited US and Canada voice minutes and SMS under fair use, with hard caps on concurrency, daily minutes, single call length and texts per hour and per day.
What happens if the agent tries to make a second call at the same time?#
It is rejected with the error code CALL_RL_PLAN_CONCURRENCY, since the plan allows one active call across the whole account.
Is there a limit on how long a single call can run?#
Yes, 60 minutes, applied to outbound calls when they are dispatched.
How many calls can the agent make in a day?#
Up to 50 calls per day and 20 per hour, according to the Agent Phone Plan page.
Does ClawCall's "Unlimited" plan have any disclosed limits?#
Yes. Its own "Honest limits" section states that calls go only to US +1 numbers, are conducted in English, and exclude bulk or high-volume automated outreach and sales campaigns.
Does ClawdTalk call its plans unlimited?#
No. Its plans are sold as fixed monthly minute allowances, with an overage rate on its Pro plan past the allowance, not as "unlimited."
What happens if the agent texts past its cap?#
The send is rejected with SMS_RL_PLAN_HOURLY or SMS_RL_PLAN_DAILY, depending on which limit was hit.
