# Bland Agent Phone Plan

Price: 9.99 USD for the first month, then 19.99 USD/month. The first-month price applies to the first Agent Phone Plan, once per account owner. Charged at subscription, no free trial.
Includes: one US local number, unlimited voice minutes and SMS to US/Canada, subject to fair use.
Limits: one concurrent call across inbound/outbound combined; 20 calls/hour; 50 calls/day; 1,000 call minutes/day; 60 minutes max per outbound call; 20 texts/hour; 100 texts/day. Calls, transfers, and SMS are limited to US/Canada.

1. Obtain owner authorization to begin. POST https://api.bland.ai/v1/agent/onboarding/start with optional client_name (maximum 64 characters; letters, numbers, spaces, and ._/-). No API key is needed.
2. Read response.data. Keep device_code private. Show the owner verification_url_complete and user_code. Owner signs in, subscribes, and approves in their browser. Never handle their payment details or approve for them.
3. POST https://api.bland.ai/v1/agent/onboarding/poll with device_code, waiting at least the returned interval seconds. Use the same API host as start, paired with the owner's dashboard region.
4. If pending, continue at the returned interval. On HTTP 429, honor Retry-After and any SLOW_DOWN interval. On expired, stop and request a fresh flow. Codes expire in 15 minutes. On HTTP 503 FEATURE_DISABLED, stop and tell the owner onboarding is temporarily unavailable.
5. On approved, store data.api_key immediately in secret storage. It is delivered once. Save data.phone_number and data.org_id; stop polling. Never print keys or device codes into chat, logs, or source files.
6. Use https://docs.bland.ai for calling and SMS API instructions. Use the plan's included number. Request owner authorization for calls and messages.

Cancellation in Billing is immediate, stops future subscription charges, and retains the number on the account. Cancel this plan before switching to Build or Scale.
